Current Skate Setup: 3x125mm SUV Imperials & USD Sways with Kizer UFS SUV frames.
Favorite boot: The Imperial has been my go-to off-road boot for many years.
Favorite frames: Kizer’s UFS SUVs. Aggressive off-roading has to start somewhere & I am excited to see what people will do with it.
Favorite wheels: 125mm pneumatic’s (air-filled) have allowed me to roll around some pretty beautiful places away from city’s cement.
Favorite bearings: WICKED Rustproof. Pretty essential when skating miles of muddy dirt trails.
Why do you love to skate? It keeps my mind young & body healthy. Tell us about your personal philosophy, ethic, and value as a skater! Even off of my skates, I love adventuring and exploring new lands, blazing new trails away from the beaten path. Whether it be skating black diamond bike trails, sandy badlands, or a frozen river, I am interested in rolling where nobody has ever rolled before.
What keeps you pushing forward in skating? Seeing what other people are going in other sports like boarding or biking, I am constantly inspired to adapt relatively the same trick ideas or spots/locations for the use of rollerblades.
What is your favorite place to skate? The north shore of Vancouver Canada. Pumping a well-groomed trail down a mountain for minutes is more fun than I can describe. The same goes for its beauty, the forest is super picturesque.
What is your favorite trick? Riding trees like ramps.
What advice would you like to give? Commit, fully. Period.
Any hobbies outside of skating? Photographing the places and people I see while adventuring.
Do you have a life philosophy or phrase that inspires you? Just do it. It’s quite basic, but it has gotten me to try some of the scariest things.
What is your favorite moment in skating? Showcasing off-road rollerblading on the Discovery Channel & through interviews on different News segments across Canada. A lot of non-skaters were watching, sharing, and talking about it, and that felt really rewarding to reach those masses.
